95-MILE GUNS
IN FRENCH NAVY

PARIS, 9th April. It was disclosed ill (lie Senate that the French Navy is in possession of several guns capable of firing 95 miles, Ibus being superior to the'Gorman weapons which in 1918 bombarded Paris from distances of 75 to 80 miles. It is recalled that the gun which was being constructed in England at the time of I lie Armistice, and which was superior lo the Germans’, was scrapped.
