RUGBY FOOTBALL
BROADCASTING OF MATCHES APPROVED OTAGO UNION TO PLAY UNDER. OLD RULES (By Telegraph—Press Association) DUNEDIN. This Day. The broadcasting of all matches in which the visiting British Rugby Foolball Team takes part was approved it the annual meeting of the Otago Rugby Union. The union will have till the British team's matches in Otago broadcast as well as local teams matches. The union decided also to support a notice of motion which will be dealt with at the annual meeting of the New Zealand Rugby Union: "That the old kick into touch rule be reverted to this season." The Otago union has definitely decided that all matches under its auspices will be played under the old rules this season.
