EARTHQUAKES IN JAPAN
CONTINUOUS SHOCKS FOR A . FORTNIGHT (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) (Received 29th March. 9.50 a.m.) TOKIO, 28th March. Continuously repeated earthquakes have been rocking Izu peninsula, particularly Ito, 40 miles southwest of Yokohama for a fortnight past. The inhabitants are pamestyicken.
Although the disturbances are at present local their persistency is ominous, because they are near the epicentre of the 1923 'quake.
