CAR STRIKES TELEGRAPH POLE
. PLUNGE OVER 30-FOOT BANK (By Telegraph—Press Association) DUNEDIN, This Day. A car owned and driven by W. T. Henaghan, a 1 Dunedin dentist, who with t\yo other local residents (W. Foster and W. Lloyd) were returning from a bowling trip through Central Otago today, struck a telegraph pole near Rae's Junction and plunged over a 30-foot bank, turning over three times. Henaghan was badly bruised and received considerable shock, but the passengers escaped with a shaking and minor bruises. Loose metal at the scene of, the accident is thought to have caused the trouble.
