Butter market steadier; cheese market slow. Danish butter 148 s to 150 s (150 sto 158 s); New Zealand finest salted 126 a to 130 s (136 s to 138 s); Australian finest unsaltetl 130 sto 132 s (138 s to 140 s), salted 124 s to 128 s (132 sto 1355); Australian G.A.Q. 120 s to 122 s (128 s to 130 s); New Zealand cheese white 78s to 70s (S2s .to 83s), coloured 80s to 81s (83s to 84s); spot price for Candian white 04s to 08s (04s to 08s), coloured 04s to 08s (04s to 98s). Butter top prices exceptional. New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., have received the following advice from their London house dated 20th inst.— Dairy produce—Butter, New Zealand choicest salted 128 s to 130 s per cwt (138 s); cheese, white, 0s per cwt (82s, 83s), coloured 81s (83s, 84s). Markets extremely quiet. Tallow.—We quote present e.i.f.e. values for the following descriptions of tallow: Fine mutton 37s 3d per cwt; good beef 375; mixed 345. Market quiet.
