TOO SHORT
YOUNG LADY'S BATHING COSTUME
(By Telegraph-Special to "The Mail")
AUCKLAND, This Day. Most people have become resigned to the scantiness of the modern girl's costume for dancing, walking or swimming, but Onehunga still has misgivings. At- last night's meeting of the Borough Council, the caretaker of the bathing sheds reported that he had been compelled to warn a young lady that her bathing dress was too short, as it came only to her hips.- He had a«ked her to lengthen it from the top. Mr T. H. Geraghty thought the report was incomplete without the name and address of the young woman, and the report was returned to the caretaker for the information and for other particulars.
