The cricket match Australia v. West Australia was continued in extremely sultry weather. The attendance was 10,000, the galo realising £715. Australia gave a good display of batting, their innings closing at about tea time, having produced 324 runs in 250 minutes. Bradman notched twenty in ten minutes, hitting everything. He was. easily caught when 27. Ivippax began slowly and gave a careful display, taking 97 minutes for half a century, and 151 minutes for his century, lie then hit everything, throwing liis wicket away with an easv catch when 114.
Richardson in compiling 45 in 42 minutes displayed sparkling hatting, scoring eight fours. Australia's innings lasted 250 minutes.
West Australia were apparently tired on resumption and made a poor showing losing four wickets for 67. Scores:
