CHILD DIES FROM INJURIES

AUCKLAND, 22nd March
Following injuries the result of being knocked by a motor van last evening. Eunice Amelia Wood, aged six years, whose parents reside in Wood street. Pousonby, died in hospital this morning. The father of t'-e child, Charles Holmes Wood, in evidence at I lie in fiiie't said the deceased, with two other children, were (lie iv>n<l at ;i '•trpef, iiipr-lion when a van drive" bv Wallace George Jtoss was approaching. The two other children ran hack but Eunice Wood ran forward and was knocked down.
