FISHING LAUNCH BREAKS DOWN
OFF WELLINGTON HEADS
(By Telegraph—Press Association)
WELLINGTON, Tin's Day. A fishing launch with ten. people on board, including two children, broke down off the Heads yesterday and began to drift to sea. The clutch key broke and the engine could not be started. The wind got up and rough seas drenched everyone. Other launches about did not see the signals, but as darkness came on the little steamer Waipata, from Napier, saw them and turned back and towed the launch to safety.
