PERJURY CHARGE
AGAINST A YOUNG GIRL

CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. Following on the refusal of a witness to answer questions put to her by Chief Detective Carroll and the Magistrate, Mr Mosley this morning, in an alleged car-' nal knowledge charge, the Magistrate directed the police to bring the witness, a young girl, before the Children's Court on a charge of perjury. "No matter how young the girl is," he said, "she can't be allowed to come before the Court and perjure herself in this way.".
