Paquito won the second division of the Highweight Handicap, while Ring Boy gave promise of future success by coming from the rear of the field to gain a minor place in the first division of the same race. Limerick, the idol of Australian racegoers, restored himself to favour with a brilliant victory in the Autumn Stakes. The champion was blocked when about to make his run at the distance, but came round the field and in a wonderful finish gained Ihe verdict by three-quar-ters of a length. He received a. wonderful ovation on returning to scale. The New Zealand youngster Honour gave a splendid performance, winning the Sires' Produce Stakes. Acting as pacemaker for the greater part of the journey, he withstood a desperate challenge from Comanche who came fast from the rear of the field. Results:—

First Hurdles —Bagpipes, 11.4, 1; Rearguard, 10.3, 2; Stony, 9.2. 3. Eleven started. Bright Flare led the field at the first jump from Really and W.B. The latter fell passing the stand, and Bagpipes took command ahead of Stony, Really and Grosvenor. Bagpipes was thereafter in charge.
