"Speed limith serve no useful purpose," declares the London Hume Counties' Advisory Committee hi recommending thai lliev should be abolished.
"Traffic conditions," says the committee, "impose a. limitation on reasonable drivers. Unreasonable ones can better be dealt with undo/' the existing ger.oral legislation. Speed limits have moved most difficult to enforce."
