FIVE MILLION DOLLAR GIFT FROM HENRY FORD (United Press Association.—By Eleotrie Telegraph.—Copyright.) (Australian Press Association) NEW YORK, 11th February. On the occasion of Edison’s eightysecond birthday to-day, and the fiftieth anniversary of his invention of the incandescent lamp, Mr Henry Ford made a 5,000,000 dollar gift for a museum at Dearborn to house an Edisonian collection. In a letter announcing the gift, Mr Ford warmly praised his friend, and declared that the proposed museum was necessary as an inspiration to American youth.
