Mrs Grummell entered the taxidermist's with a stuffed parrot in her hands. "Do you rememher the bird you stuffed for me last autumn?" she asked. "Well, the work' was so badly clone that the feathers are simply falling out." "Ah, madam," said the man, "that is a triumph of art. We stuff our birds so well that they moult at the proper season."
A city girl was spending her holidays on a farm. One day she complained to the farmer of the close attentions a certain bull was paying her. "Perhaps that red jumper you re wearing has something to do with it," said tho farmer. "Oh," said the girl, "I know it's awfully out of fashion, but fancy a country bull noticing it."
