(By Telegraph—Press Association)

HOKIANGA, This Day. The hotel at Lake Kanieri, occupied by Charles Tulloch, was totally destroyed by fire on Saturday evening. It was apparently caused by a defective chimney in the sitting room. Practically nothing was saved. The insurance on stock in trade was £75 and on the furniture and effects £250 in the South British oifice; on the building £750 in the Royal Exchange office.
