.AIAITAI CLUB On Saturday afternoon, the first club competition of the season was played (the initial round of the Saturday fours). The results were as follows Beckmann, T. Stewart, A. Gibbs, Stallard (s) 20; Aydori, L. Forster, Stevens, Dunphv, 19. McLean, Marks, Chapman, Piper (s) 26; C'!av, Kinzett, H. Forster, Whiting (s) 11. ‘ Speedy, Boycs, A\. Dee (s) 20; McArtnev, Mcrlino, Adams, Turinieliff (s) 18. Greiner, Board, P. Gibbs, Cappiello (s) 25; ,T. Kitching, 0. King, Wimsett, Persico (s) 15. Pearson, Kitchingman, Penney, AlcComish (s) 29: Hounsell, Trott, Lo Frentz, Bruiideil (s) 19. G. Hurley, Faulkner, A. Dee, Johnson (s) 25; McFadden, Ben von, Fowler, T. Dee (s) 17. Kingston and Dodson (s) 20, Slinn and Logan (s) 10. Air Speedy (Auckland). AH Faulkner (Lawrence) and Air AlcFadden (Christchurch) were ’visitors to the green and took part in the game. During the tea adjournment Mr W. Dee was cordially welcomed back. Mesdames Chapman, AlcComish, and L. Forster kindly dispensed afternoon tea.
