BUCHAREST, 26th October. The Simplon tunnel express from Bucharest collided with another express near Slatina. The collision completely wrecked on the first-mentioned express, a sleeping ear and two first-class coaches, luggage van, and mail van! It is believed that there are 50 casualties, 25 being sent to hospital. THIRTY-ONE DEATHS (Received 27th October, 9.50 a.m.) SLATINA, 26th October. The train accident was due to the faulty working of the points. Thirty-one people were killed, of whom 27 were Rumanians travelling on the local train, and 47 injured.
