“OBERON” .TO-NIGHT

MARSDEN HALL A reminder is given of the concert version performance of “Oberon” to he presented to night in the Marsden Hall. This operatic gem of Weber’s has been pronounced his best effort and lias always proved a great attraction. The music is delightful, being woven round an imaginative love story which will tonight be outlined by Miss M. Bell, L. The principal characters have been allotted to suitable vocalists. Miss M. Trussing has been entrusted with the representation of Rezia, the leading soprano; Mr F. W. Huggins (tenor) takes Sir Huon; Mr D. Bishop “Oberon”; “Puck”, Miss Hodgson; “The .Mermaid,” Miss J. Richards; Fatima, Mrs H. S. Claughton; and Sherasim Mr G. Newton. There will be a full chorus and orchestra, under the conductorship of Mr H. S. Claughton. L.T.C.L., F.G.C.M. Popular prices will be charged for admission. Prior to the opera three items will be given: Overture (uiano duet) “Romeo and Juliet.” Bellinini Miss M. Fairey, L-.A.8., L.T.C.L., Mrs E. Smith, L.A.B.
