• MOSCOW,. 9th August. The Supreme Court, after three weeks' trial, imposed sentence of death on the director of a wine company in respect of abuses causing the loss of over a million roubles. Three others were sentenced to terms of imprisonment. Tlie're are no details, but lately it has been suggested that the Soviet is endeavouring to cover up the failure of the regime by attacks on administrators.
