A CHILD RUN OVER
DEATH FROM INJURIES

WELLINGTON, This Day, Alice Dorothy Thompson, aged 4, residing with her parents in Hugh street, was' run over by a motor lorry in Adelaide road shortly before 5 o'clock last night, and died from her injuries. The accident was caused by the child's steDping off the footpath while the lorry was passing, the back wheel of the vehicle going over her body. The lorry was travelling towards Newtown and was being driven by William John Mason, who is employed by J. O'Brien and Co., of .Victoria street. The injured child died while she was being conveyed to the Hospital. ' - .
