A Dunedin Press Association telegram reports the death of Mr R. C. Jones, aged 75, managing director of Turnbj?l and Jones. Deceased was at. one time chief electrical engineer to the Union Company, and later, with -Mr Robert Turnbull of Wellington, founded the electrical firm. ’Plie death is announced from Sydney of Mr Percy Shannon, a brother to Mr Ulic Shannon, the well-known Wellington sportsman. The late Mr Shannon was a sporting writer on the Svftnc; “Sun” and very popular in the hgnt harness sport.
