STABBING AFFRAY
MAN SENT TO HOSPITAL

A sensational stabbing affray at Milton is reported, Arthur Lloyd, aged about 21, a Public Works employee at lialclutha, being removed to .Milton Hospital with a wound in the abdomen two inches deep. His condition is not regarded as serious. It is alleged that last night the injured man was standing outside a house waiting for a young lady, when William Hassett, aged 26, a labourer, caught him by the throat, at the Same time stabbing" him. Particulars are not available.
