It is reported that there is a possibility that the P nrifie Cable Company may he taken over by a syndicate formed by the Hastern Telegraph Company ami the Marconi Wireless Company. Negotiations seeking amalgamation with the latter followed the recent London Conference. Jf this amalgamation is accomplished. they are likelv also to absorb the Pacific Cable Company.
