SEPARATION IN TURKEY

CONSTANTINOPLE, 10th April. The National Assembly unanimously passed a Bill separating the Church from the State, and providing that Islam shall no longer be Turkey's State religion ; and that Deputies and State officials in future will take the oath of office on their own honour, not m the name of God.
