Counferleit, CIO notes, believed to be the work of a Melbourne gang, were passed on to bookmakers at the Randwick and Williamstown rare meetings. A bundle of 176 notes was found in the lavatory at Randwirk to-day. Bookmakers were warned to look out for luunterleils. and several were detected Presumably the men passing them became alarmed and threw their stock a wav.
