MORE SEATS IN THE CITY
(To the Editor)
Sir.—The trees in Victoria Avenue in the fullneps of their rich greenness and glory are indeed very beautiful and afford a pleasant shade in these very hot and trying days. It has been borne in upon me that if a few restful seats were placed along this street so centrally situated, it would be a good idea. True there are seats in the public parks including Church Hill, but none of them are so close to the heart of the city as is Victoria Avenue. Here the weary more especially the aged could rest without a long walk or a climb. ,1 am VISITOR. Nelson, 6th February.
