NORTH POLE EXPEDITION
AIRSHIP ALMOST READY (By Electrio Telegraph—Copyright) (Published in "The Times.") LONDON, 12th Jan. The Milan correspondent of "The Times" reports that the airship M 4 in. which Noble will make his venture to the North Pole, is almost ready. It embodies improvements 'suggested by the Novge expedition, including lightscreens of wire gauze which will prevent tlie air from the screws throwing fragments of icicles forming thereon through the gas envelope. Trial flights will begin shortly.
