GLADIOLUS SHOW
AT DRILL HALL NEXT "WEEK The Nelson Horticultural Society;* Gladiolus Show will be held at the Drill Hall on Thursday and Friday of nextweek. Entries will close on Tuesday and may be made at the Nelson Seed Company till 5.30 p.m. and at Mr S. Bolton's from 7 to 9 p.m. The display of the increasingly popular gladiolus' is expected to be a very fine one, as the schedule provides a wide range of classes enabling large and small growers to participate. Dahlias are al»o wcill provided for at this show, and there are- classes for sweet peas, decorative exhibits and pot plants. Special prizes' have been offered for a decorated table by children under 15.
