A STREET FIGHT
"RED" PICKETS ROUTED WALL STREET MEN'S ATTACK NEW YORK, 24th Dec. Some "Red" pickets parading before the Standard Oil Company's office in Broadway, in protest against tho shooting incidents at, a Colorado mine were set upon liy a crowd uf Wall Street brokers and clerks and after being jeered at and pelted, were routed. Two men and two women who were arrested and charged with disorderly conduct are. believed by the police to bo• Communists, and to have recently arrived from Russia. The men were severely mauled by the mob before being taken into custody. Banners bearing the words, "Down with tho Colorado Cossacks," and "John' D. Rockefeller, your gunmen cannot break tho solidarity tif Labour," were torn to shreds.
