NEW PRAYER BOOK
BISHOPS' MEETING

LONDON, 12th January. The bishops met, and are expected to issue an outline, of final proposals, probably on Friday. The "Morning Post" expresses the opinion that the sudden publication «f Viscount Halifax's notes stiffened opposition to any plan the episcopate may evolve for salving the new Prayer Book.
