A COSTLY CIGARETTE
MINER HEAVILY FINED (United Press Association) GREYMOUTH, This Day. Having a cigarette in his pocket whilst in the Dobson mine on 3rd November cost James Alexander £3 lis to-day, he being fined £2 with costs at the Magistrate's Court. He pleaded guilty, declaring that he forgot he had a cigarette in his pocket.
