And so MiThomas Ray Sidey, M.P., the perpetrator of Summertime, arrived at the State luncheon to Mr Amery in Wellington an hour late! His fellow members rained queries on him, the chief of which was, "Did'you forget to put your watch on, Tom?'* The meticulous Sidey, responsible for a change of habit in a growing nation, actually blushed behind his fourihch collar. .
