MOTOR CYCLISTS COLLIDE
ONE DEAD FROM INJURIES THE OTHER IN SERIOUS CONDITION (United Press Association) TE AWA.UUTU, This Day. A fatal accident occurred at. about 10 o’clock last night on the To Rapa road, two miles from To Awamutu, when Eric Storey, aged 23, son of Mr A. H. Storey, a district farmer, and Nelson Jackson, oft about the same age, a farm hand employed by Mr fl. Foclce, were both riding motor cycles apd met in a headon collision. When found, about half an hour later, both were unconscious lying on the road some yards apart, Storey being- under his machine, which was smouldering. Help was quickly sent for, and as both were terribly injured they were removed to the Waikato Hospital whero Jackson died practically on umsu. Storey is still unconscious.
