LONDON, 29th Nov. Four racecourse; frequenters were charged at Glamorgan Assizes with the murder of David Lew's, a Cardiff footballer. The prosecution de,scribed it as the most brutal and beastly murder imaginable. The four surrounded Lewis, ■who was a fine athlete, held his arms behind his hack and deliberately cut his throat, then left him to die by the roadsido. The prosecution contended that the whole four were guilty of murder.
