HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES

KUSJNESS YESTERDAY (By Telegraph) (Froaa "The Mail'6" Parliamentary Reporter). WELLINGTON, 29th Nov. The Government's intentions ;is disclosed by an amendment of the Order Paper circulated this afternoon indicate that the Supplementary Estimates will be gone on with to-day. As this will afford member? a chance of reviewing a number of matters touching administration, it is fully expected that full advantage will bo taken of it. It was-confidently stated to-day that the Licensing Bill will be gone oil with —perhaps to-morrow—and that the fate of the measure will largely depend upon what the Legislative Council does with it. In tho event of disagreement between the two Houses conference will he necessary. Failure to reach an amicable basis of settlement may cause tho Bill to bo dropped, but there seems to be little prospsct of the session terminating much before the end of the week. There is a feeling in the lobbies, too, that the Arbitration Bill will, be proceeded with, but this point is still somewhat doubtful.
