As a result- ,of Australian wool growers’ belief that Alsatian dogs are a menace to- sheep, the Royal Agricultural Societies of West Australia and New South Wales decided to delete.from the schedule any prizes for this class of dog. The Commonwealh Government could not see its way clear to agree to the request of graziers that the Federal Council prohibit the importation of Alsatian dogs into, Australia.
