The Rev. H. W. Monaghan, M.A., Vicar of Hawera, has been appointed Vicar of Timaru, in succession to Archdeacon J. A. Julius, announces the “Church News.” Mr Monaghan received his ordination in Christchurch, being assistant curate at St. Luke’s in 1912-13. He then went to the Wellington Dioqese, and was appointed Vicar of Hawera in 1923. He is well known as a cricketer.
