GENERAL ELECTION (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) (Australian & N.Z. Cable Association) LONDON,., 9th June. Polling in the Irish Free State is taking place to-day. There are 375 candidates for 152'seats. 'The election is being hotly contested. The “Daily Telegraph’s” Dublin correspondent slates that the Government party expects to- be returned with a gain of five seats. The return of Mr Blythe, Minister of Finance, is doubtful. The Labour Party will probably return stronger and De Valera’s party considorablv weaker
