IN SOUTH-WEST AFRICA
STATEMENT BY HERTZOG

CAPETOWN, 7th June. General Hertzog, speaking in Parliament, said the great majority of Germans in South-West Africa were not agitating for the return of the colony to Germany. The Premier expressed no fear at the large number of German colonists in that territory. The German clement, he said, was one which any nation might wish fo have, and the Government had no reason to to concerned with their coming to South-West Africa or any other place.
