PARTS. Bth June. Obituary—-General Peter Kalitino, Russian conqueror of Erzeroun. General Peter Kalitino lived for months in extreme poverty arid died in an almshouse. The Czar sifter Erzeroum presented liirn with a gold sabre studded with diamonds. The Allies also generously decorated him. He fled to Paris after tho war. Scorning charity, although seventy-five years of age, he tried to support an invalid daughter and five other children by manual work.
