NEWCASTLE STRIKE ENDED

SYDNEY, 7th June. Coal trimmers at Newcastle resumed work to-day, but it will be several days before idle ships will be able to secure sufficient coal to leave port. Six of the largest collieries in the Cessnock district have also commenced working, and it is expected others will resume to-morrow.
