INCREASED HOSPITAL LEVIES
DUNEDIN LOCAL BODIES' CONFERENCE

DUNEDIN, This Day. _ The Conference of Bodies considered the increase in hospital levies which, in Otago, went up by £15,044 on last year. The conference "passed a resolution that the Government set up o commission to .investigate the whole question of hospital finance, (he opinion being generally expressed that it should be a charge on the Consolidated Fund.
