OBJECTION TO MERGING WITH ALLIANCE
(United Preen Association) DUNEDIN, 6th June. At (lie last meeting of the Otago Labour Council, by an overwhelming majority the delegates decided that, the action of the National Executive of the New Zealand 'Trades and Labour Council’s Federation in merging with (he New Zealand Alliance of Labour without a mandate from the majority of its affiliations, was unconstitutional and that the national executive he, instructed to withdraw from the Alliance.
