A GISBORNE RAID
GISBORNE, This Day. Arthur Owen was charged at the Police Court ibis morning with having used premises as a common gaming house. Cornelius Peterson was charged with assist dig him. The charges were laid in consequence of a Police, raid on Saturday on Owen s premises, where he conducted the business of a tobacconist and hairdresser. A remand till next Monday was granted.
