For the Cambridge Trotting Handicap, of 300 sovs and a cup valued at 25 sows. Respect' (£4bb) and Rock Hinton (£432) were the lies! barked, while Heather Girl had only £66 invested cm her. Master Councillor, and Huapere. Before reaching the top, Rock Hinton and Respect drew right- away. Rock Hinton (R. C. Wood) was the first to I urn for home, and going on. won easily by two lengths and a half from Respect, with Heather Girl, who finished well under punishment; three, lengths away. Then came Bingen King, Lord Nepean, Master Councillor, Ttuapere, Goldman, anil Kokirilea. Times, 4.42 1-5. 4.43, 4.49 2-5. The winner is owned by A. ,T. Charles and was trained by R C- Wood, Taitpiri.
