Victoria. in the second innings has lost five wickets for 541—Hendry 85, Love not out 170, King 33, Hartkopf not out 101. Stumps were drawn.. Victoria seems in a fair way toadd another shattering victory to. her Sheffield Shield achievements this season.

The weather was fine .and the wicket good. Hendry resumed' his overnight innings . wit,h Love. Both batted carefully, Love's, runs coming very slowly. The pair carried the total towards the 300 mark, when Hendry was stumped off Williams, after lie had just previously escaped a. catch off. the same bowler. King assisted Love to bring up his hundred, which had taken 208 minutes, and 300 was hoisted for" 279 minutes' play. With.the advent of Hartkopf the batting became more aggressive,- runs mounting up more freely towards the close, though the play was never inspiring. Changes were frequently rung on the bowlers, whom the batsmen all through 'treated with respect. Extras added 29.

MARYLEBONE DEFEATS ALL INDIA DELHI, 3rd January. In the cricket match against Marylebone, AH India scored 269 in their second innings. Marylebone's second innings produced 183 rung for six wickets (Wyatfc, not out 97), and Marylebone won by four wickets.
