AUCKLAND, This Day. The 23rd annual meeting of the Auckland Rifle Association was concluded at Penrose yesterday. A splendid performance was given by G. E. Watt (city and suburban), one of the youngest competitors, who in the teams championship matcli secured 49 out of a possible 50. The teams championship went to Akarnna B, and F. Hogg (New Plymouth), was the winner of the King’s championship, which goes try the winner of a special match shot off by the 20 who secure the highest, aggregate in six matches. Hogg’s score was 317. S. Elliot (Akarnna) was second with 315 and H. C. Evans (Te Kuiti) third with 311.
