CYCLISTS FINED
FOUL RIDING, ASSAULT AND BAD LANGUAGE (United Press Association.) GISBORNE. This Day. Following the riding of ,the three mile cycle handicap at the Ngatapa sports yesterday, McCann and Brewster, New Plymouth riders, appeared before Hie committee. The former was fined £1 for foul riding and the latter 10/for had language as a result of alleged interference with the Gisborne rider Dolman during therace. Subsequently McCann and Brewster laid complaints against Dolman and Hamilton, who had supported the former complaint. Dolman being fined £1 for assault and Hamilton 10/- for abusive language.
