REFUSAL OE ACREPTANTE UPHELD (By Telegraph.—. Special to “The Mail.’ ) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. The Committee of the (Metropolitan Trotting Club met this afternoon with reference to correspondence, from Mr Louisson, owner of Imprint. The following resolution was passed: "That under the New Zealand Rules of Trotting the Committee has no option but to endorse the decision previously arrived at.”

The meeting referred to was called to consider Mr Louisson's appeal which had the backing of all the owners, except one, who had horses engaged in the Cup. Those owners were agreed that under the circumstances the acceptance of Imprint, which had been delayed through no 'fault of the owner, should he deemed to be in order. We are informed that the exception was Mr R. M. Morten, owner of Ahuriri, vhkli is handicapped 24 yards behind.
