Won by two lengths. Time, 3.14. Hawke's Bay Steeples: 2 Master Peter 1, 5 Fireblight 2, 7 Ranui 3. Scratched, Woden. Won bv five lengths. Time 6.27. " Winter Handicap: 5 Chrishna 1,2 Benna'nee 2, 3 Gauntlet 3. Scratched, Singer Boy. Hastings Handicap: 2 Beakodav 1, 9 Black Rock 2, 3 Vivo 3. Scratched, Mountain Star. Won by two lengths. Time, 1.2 1-5. Heretaunga Handicap: 2 Huikai 1, 9 Serene 2, 1 Nine of Spades 3. Nine started. Won by a length. Time, 1.20 4-5. Totalisator £17,872, compared with' £16,546 last year, an increase of £1326.
